Sarah loves teaching anything from energising vinyasa (flow) to deeply relaxing classes. Her Dynamic Flow classes are rooted in the traditional discipline of Ashtanga Yoga. And her nurturing ‘Yoga Nidra’ classes offer a chance to really let go of physical, mental and emotional stress through guided, deep relaxation.
Sarah has practiced yoga for over 25 years and qualified as a Yoga Alliance accredited teacher in 2019 at The Space Yoga Studio in Thame.
She understands that students come to yoga for many reasons and hopes that her classes strike a balance between honouring the traditions and philosophy of yoga whilst allowing students the space to enjoy their practice from wherever they are on their journey. Sarah teaches with compassion and sensitivity to the differences in our emotional and physical capabilities and encourages students to extend self-compassion to their practice and beyond.
Philly teaches Hatha Yoga in Chalgrove and Thame. She is also a rower and applies yoga to supporting rowers, cyclists and runners by improving strength and flexibility. She includes breathing and relaxation techniques that are vital to each sport and to overall physical and mental wellbeing. She believes that yoga helps protect the joints, enhances performance and increases longevity in your chosen activities.
