I have been playing squash for over 30 years where I represented my country (Zimbabwe) at both junior and senior levels.
The highlight of my playing career was representing my country at the 2003 All Africa games.
After growing up in a country where there was limited coaching available and almost no junior development I decided to try and give back a little bit to the sport that I still enjoy playing today. Straight out of school I was involved in coaching & managing a national junior team for 3 years taking them on an annual junior squash tour to South Africa. I stopped coaching squash when I left Zimbabwe and decided to get back into coaching squash again in 2018 only doing it part time.
I decided that squash coaching is something I really wanted to pursue so at the end of 2019 I took the plunge to go into coaching full time. I am currently the head coach at Racquets fitness centre where I look after the junior academy as well as other roles. I have also been involved in the Oxfordshire county junior coaching since 2018.
I have been representing Oxfordshire at mens county level in both squash and racketball over the years as well as competing in the England squash masters tournaments.
I look forward to helping to develop more adults and juniors into better squash players and to encourage more people to start playing squash.
