Roger, age 73, suggests DropiT21 to bring health and fitness back
DROPit21 Diet & Weight-loss Programme, as experienced by Roger Cooper
I am a 73 year-old man, just 5 ft 8 1/2 inches tall, so when the scales hit 15 stone, with a Body Mass Index saying “obese”, something had to change. I am reasonably active – but various attempts to lose weight had a familiar pattern of lose a bit and put it back on. I had medical conditions which should improve with weight loss, and more recently I was walking around town quite slowly and getting breathless. So time to take action!
I spoke to Simon and Sue Martin who run the excellent Racquets Fitness Centre in Thame, and who recommended the DROPiT21 programme, which they had both benefitted from. So on my first 21 days on the programme I achieved the average weight loss of 11lbs and a reduction of 13 inches in my overall body measurements After consulting with Sandra I continued into a second 21day programme and lost a further 5 lbs by day 15 of the second programme. (16 lbs overall). I am hopeful of achieving 21 lbs by the end the second programme. My secondary, but equally important targets, of better breathing and walking have both been realised, along with generally feeling fitter.
A major plus for Sandra’s DROPiT21 programme is her approachability via phone, e-mail or social media, and the encouragement and advice that she gives you. And the 10-mins morning workout, rapidly becomes a habit that sets you up for the day.
Finally, the food recipes are very delicious, easy to cook and no hardship to follow, because you can eat good quantities of protein and veggies. The recipes take out most carbohydrates and sugars, and also caffeine and alcohol , and apart from the occasional “sin” you can easily adhere to the eating plans. The fast days are optional but quite easy.
If you want to seriously address your weight problem, then DROPiT21 is an effective and enjoyable way to do it. And you can always return to the programme at any time.
