Membership through the Pandemic
Racquets has been sending out newsletters via Mailchimp throughout the Coronavirus outbreak. We are now aware that we don’t appear to have all our members current email addresses.
So if you haven’t received any word from Racquets in the past 3 weeks then please let memberships@racquets-fitness-centre.com know your new email address.
We are trying to contact all our members. Many are on whatsapp groups where we are able to share encouragement and ask what anyone needs.
You may know that we are streaming much of our timetable live on Facebook but we are also saving many of the videos to our website on different pages for different ages.
There are some for the kids, teens, Healthy Hearts and the rest of us.
We are very thankful for many of our members who have been telling us that they are sticking by their club through this crisis.
Our newsletters that we have put out have been explaining what we are doing about memberships and we thought we would reiterate what we are doing here :
For members who have paid up front for a year we will add free time onto the end of the year.
For members who are paying monthly throughout a year – again – we will add free time onto the end of the year – so we will stop taking monthly payments when your year ends.
This allows us to spread out over the course of the next year when we have lower membership income and thereby keep our club open.
We do understand that there will be some who simply cannot afford to continue to pay during this period and we accept cancellations via email to info@racquets-fitness-centre.com.
We are trying our best to support all our members during this time with online PT, live streaming classes, strength videos, whatsapp groups for community spirit and anything else that we can think of.
