From 25th July our club is open to our members

Including our Junior members

With the school summer holidays here, it is a great time to get the kids invested in fitness again!

Ages 14+

Our Junior members age 14+ are able to use all the gym equipment that they have been trained to use so far on the 9 point plan.  If you need a refresher on any aspect of the plan please do book to see an instructor for more training.

Ages 11 to 13

Cardio

As always, Juniors will have access to our cardio room and it’s equipment, from treadmills to rowing machines. Instructors are on hand for refreshers on how to use the equipment.

Spin

Our spin bikes have been moved in to the studio and have been spaced out for social distancing purposes. Juniors are free to use the spin bikes and if there is enough interest we may soon be running small classes.

TRX and Bodyweight Exercises

The TRX is a suspension trainer and safely simulates exercises such as pull-ups, chest presses, squats and more. There are two in our studio and one in the outdoor Grit Yard. Juniors may also perform bodyweight exercises utilising equipment such as exercise balls and mats.

Light Free Weights

Juniors may use light free weights under Instructor supervision only and if only given consent by a parent or guardian. If enough interest is expressed, we will resume our Introduction to Weight Training classes for juniors at a limited capacity.

Please remind your teens to sanitise upon entry, wipe down any equipment used with sanitising spray and respect social distancing practices.
