  • Racquets Coronavirus Roadmap

    Everyone is calling it a Roadmap out of lockdown so we thought we should too.

    We will be following all government guidelines throughout the easing period so please check the gov.uk website for guidance.   We will be on hand to explain what you can and can’t do.  Please do accept the rules and avoid putting our staff in uncomfortable situations by crossing the lines.

    ~~~~~
    On Monday 29th March at 6.30am we will open our doors for workouts in the Grit Yard – our outdoor gym space.
    {Video goes here}
    Our opening times for the Grit Yard for the next few weeks can be found at https://racquets-fitness-centre.com/club-opening-hours/.
    We are hoping to offer some classes face to face out on public grounds but this is totally weather dependent – so will probably happen at fairly short notice !!!
    No indoor activities or group activities on private grounds are permitted.
    Online Class timetable
    We have been streaming our class timetable throughout the last year and we hope that many of you have enjoyed keeping sane working out with our amazing team of class instructors.  They have enjoyed providing the classes for you and have also enjoyed reading the wonderful reviews that have come through.  Our online class timetable will continue into the foreseeable future.
    Online small group PT
    Also throughout the last year we have been offering our Group PT members their sessions via Zoom.  Additionally all full members of the club have been able to enjoy one of these sessions a week.  We will continue to offer this until all the PT members have returned to in person PT.
    Easter weekend
    Our class instructors have asked for the Easter Weekend off from streaming their classes.  They will be producing pre-recorded classes like they did for Christmas which will be posted in the morning so you can choose when you want to workout.  We’ll send these classes via email to those on the classes mailing list.
    ~~~~~

    12th April

    Not before 12th April we will be able to open the indoor gyms and the squash courts.

    We expect there to continue to be restrictions as to how many people and what is allowed.

    For squash and racketball please review the guidance on the England Squash website.

    We will be offering drinks outside on the decking for those who would like a drink after their workout.

    ~~~~~
