Laura Avery
Laura originally trained as a dancer and first discovered yoga in 2006. She went on to do her RYT-200 accredited teacher training with the Byron Yoga Centre in 2011 and later completed her pre and postnatal teacher training with Bliss Baby Yoga in Australia also. She went on to teach in Australia, before moving back to the UK, teaching in London and now Thame.
Since having children she has also gone on to qualify in teaching children’s yoga with Cosmic Kids.
Laura’s style of yoga has developed into a dynamic flow through the traditional Ashtanga yoga postures, with movement and breath. She believes the freedom of movement to be the best way to explore and connect with the body, mind and soul and it is her passion to share the wonder that is yoga in her classes.
Phillipa Gray
Philly teaches Hatha Yoga in Chalgrove and Thame. She is also a rower and applies yoga to supporting rowers, cyclists and runners by improving strength and flexibility. She includes breathing and relaxation techniques that are vital to each sport and to overall physical and mental wellbeing. She believes that yoga helps protect the joints, enhances performance and increases longevity in your chosen activities.
