    ***  Open and Closed tournaments run at Racquets are always designed to allow everyone to enter.  Men, women, children.  If you know the rules then you are good enough to join in.  ****

    On the weekend of 26/27th April Racquets will be holding an Open Graded Tournament.  We will have grades for squash and for racketball.

    In the evening there will be a squash exhibition between Joe Brooke and Will John – a professional who started playing squash when he was 2 years old at Racquets,

    GRADES

    Grading in squash and racketball is designed to allow everyone to play in a tournament but to ensure that the games that are played are as close as possible.  So county players don’t play beginners / improvers.

    Here are some descriptions for your guidance :

    Squash Racketball
    A : Advanced – 1st team/county & above
    B : 2nd team – internal leagues 1 – 4
    C : Internal leagues 4 – 8
    D : Internal leagues 8 – 10 & below
    E : Beginner
    A : Advanced – County & above
    B : Team Player
    C : Silver Server
    D : Beginner
