I specialise in functional strength training, with a strong focus on Russian kettlebell work, old-school calisthenics, and movement quality. My approach is minimalist, disciplined, and centred on building strength that carries over into real life—supporting mobility, balance, and long-term resilience.
Most of my own training is rooted in Russian kettlebell methods for developing full-body power and conditioning. I also practise bodyweight strength training inspired by Convict Conditioning (Coach Paul Wade), which emphasises progression, control, and mastery of foundational movements.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Psychology and Philosophy, which shapes my understanding of motivation, focus, and mental discipline. My professional certifications include:
I bring a strong foundation in movement coaching, enriched by years of experience in martial arts, with an emphasis on posture, breath, and practical strength. I also advocate for time-efficient conditioning tools like the “boxer’s run”—a 24-minute cardio format using progressive intensity to build endurance and resilience.
I’ve trained in StrongLifts 5×5, a minimalist barbell programme ideal for those seeking a foundation in raw strength. While not formally certified in Qigong, I’ve studied under Master Chen in China and occasionally draw from its principles—such as balance, breath, and tension release—when appropriate for warm-ups or recovery.
My coaching experience allows me to support clients beyond the physical—helping them with goal-setting, overcoming self-doubt, and maintaining consistency, both in the gym and in life. My approach is always client-centred, supportive, and grounded in the practical realities of building strength over time.
Whether you’re starting out or seeking to deepen your training, I offer a focused and functional path to lifelong fitness.
