Active People Survey reveals increase in squash participation
We have just had this through from England Squash. Great news.
We are delighted to share with you the latest figures from Sport England’s Active People Survey (APS) which reveal more than 224,000 people are playing squash at least once per week in England, an increase of 27,000 compared to last year.
These figures are a reflection of the great work of the entire squash community including county associations, volunteers, coaches, clubs and leisure centres in delivering squash nationwide.
You can find out more about the key findings on the England Squash website.
Racquets Fitness Centre would like to thank all those who help encourage new players to play including Roger, Michael, Mary, Will, our really active academy kids Nick, Ollie D-H, James W, Matt, Ollie C, James P, Luke.
We would also like to thank the Year 5 and Year 6 teachers from the primary schools around Thame for allowing their pupils to play squash during their PE lessons.
